How the numbers are worked out

Every hash wins a block with probability about 1 / (D · 232), so a rig of hashrate h finds on average

blocks a day = 86,400 · h / (D · 232)

Expected BCH a day is that times the block value (subsidy plus fees) times 0.99. Revenue multiplies by the BCH price; power cost is watts × 24 ÷ 1,000 × your electricity price. The break-even power price is the electricity price at which profit is zero. The Bitcoin comparison uses Bitcoin's live difficulty, average reward of the last 144 blocks and price, after a typical 4% pay-per-share fee.

These are expected values, the long-run average. Solo mining pays in whole blocks, so a month can bring several blocks or none: the chance of at least one block in t days is 1 − e−t/T, drawn above, where T is the average time to a block. Bitcoin Cash retargets after every block, so D moves a little with each one; the figures use today's.
